The National Association For Children And Safe Technology (NACST) is taking all precautionary measures after recent studies have proven that excess exposure to wireless frequency radiation (RF-EMF) may cause cancer. This kind of radiation is emitted from laptops, tablets, cellphones and other electronic devices we use every day.
According to a study conducted by professor Lennart Hardell and an analyst named Michael from Sweden, the risk of cancer has tripled in the last 25 years, which is the same period when cellphone use exploded all over the world. People who have been using cellphones for a longer period are more exposed to the risk. The studies conducted by professor Hardell come after a French study showed a tripled increase in cancer cases in people that have been using cellphones for 896 hours or more. This is the exact reason why scientists are urging universities to create radiation-free areas where students can study without risk.
In 2011, the WHO classified RF radiation as a serious health hazard and put it in the same category as tobacco, asbestos and benzene, which clearly shows how dangerous it is.
